philly scored with 3:14 to go. went for 2 and failed and fans started leaving bc they knew the game was over at that point. i’d rather be down 1 score and the fans stay and are fired up.
if there was more time left then def go for 2, but with 3 mins left you’re only getting one more possession.

my argument for the other side is that by going for 1 and still being down only 1 score you’re team still has hope and puts a lot of pressure on the other team. phil got the ball back with 1:12 left. if they were down 8 then the game is still in question. since they were down 9 they had no chance.

I try to explain that there’s a lot more info on BSky than just on plain old news. you get the main post but also comments from some very knowledgeable people. people think it’s all negative stuff and i try to tell them you just have to follow the right people and it’s easy to stay out of any fray.

This is so true. My (awesome) liberal friends are always 3 steps behind because they get all their news from NPR and NYT. And they think i’m a nut for declaring those sources undependable and actively hurting our cause.

i have an idea that we should change the “no kings” theme to “impeach now” or “impeach trump”. it’s a more direct message and ask. it could create a ton of pressure, especially for any sitting pol who attends the “impeach now” protests.

the tesla tunnel in vegas is so stupid. i took it. it goes to like 1 or 2 places on a closed route. the tunnel is literally huge pieces of plastic fit together to make a tube, sitting on top of regular asphalt that you drive on. it’s just drivers going around and around.
