Hi! I think there may be a mistake in the assumption of the data rate based on the patent:
The patent is explicitly stating eMMC as an example media, but as far as I can tell it doesn't claim that's what's being used (which would be an odd detail to include).
I could always be wrong though.

Sorry to diminish, but as a heads up: a couple days ago a zero click exploit (named AirBorne) was announced that affects all Apple products. This kind of thing pops up all the time, including with Apple.
