I did not. I used the fast flyer on the middle whorl. Once I drafted the yarn, I held it for a count to build up twist before letting it on the bobbin. I lost control on the fastest whorl. But I do want to work up to the very fast flyer, which I just bought, after some more practice.

Looks fantastic. I want to weave laces too but am having a hard time deciding which yarn to use. I hope you don’t mind me asking, what brand yarn and size are you using?
