Both of them have decent publicity (but are hated by the corrupt rich). Jade Scorpion is adamant about worker protections and making sure the rich/powerful pay their share of taxes.

Their political enemies & anyone else who gets on their bad side...are another story 😅.

I joined primarily because I saw a couple of people mention that they were considering it as a backup / had accounts there. Got more engagement (not just likes/reposts but also comments) from my intro post than any of my posts here have ever gotten, so I'm going to continue trying it out (for now).

I'm glad you like Alba's design & personality (so far ;))!

Scorpion (and also Yao surprisingly) share Alba's genuine care about their people, however...they're more experienced and ruthless than him. Hopefully Alba doesn't go in that direction as he gains more political EXP... 😅.

Congrats on 1K! I'm going to offer one of my (many) problematic pretty boys, Yaoshe ("demon snake") or Yao for short xD.

P.S. Yao is not his real name - he's borrowing the name of his god-like serpent companion 🐍.
Full color illustration from my Out of Memory comic. It depicts the character "Yaoshe Baiqiao" (aka. "Yao") sitting leisurely in a traditional Chinese-style room. He is an elegant man who appears to be in his late twenties or early thirties, with long, curly medium purple hair that extends past his shoulders. He is wearing an elaborate outfit that resembles traditional Chinese hanfu and is holding a pipe that is shaped like a serpent's head in his right hand. It features Kurosawa Makoto (黒澤 誠, "sincere black marsh") / Zhen Xinyi (真 心意, multiple meanings), one of the main protagonists in Out of Memory, facing off against one of the main antagonists, Baiqiao Yaoshe (白橋 妖蛇, “demonic snake of the white bridge”). A warrior with reality-warping powers, Xinyi is a pacifist who sees violence as a last resort. Yao, on the other hand, is a charming and manipulative prince who can be ruthless towards his enemies. Xinyi and Yao have a complex relationship that departs from the standard hero - villain dynamic.
