I’m 100% behind this but it’s a non-starter if local authorities continue to underfund or close libraries and don’t support professional, qualified staff. Library work is now often thought interchangeable with customer services like paying council tax and applying for bus passes. #librairies #books

The word ‘entered’ is doing some heavy lifting there. We’ve been in it for quite a while but the current volume has made it more evident.

A few years ago I received a load of thank you letters after a class visit. One child wrote that their favourite bit was the ancient Egypt gallery because they ‘licked’ the mummies. I didn’t tell Conservation. #Museumeducator #mummies
