Sleeping me recently removed my ankle compression brace overnight and then put the sock back on that came off with it. I only discovered the second part the next morning when I realized my sock was on inside out.

I went to the dentist this afternoon to have a filling removed and replaced and the numbness has finally worn completely off and now all is pain :(

I also have a (younger than yours) ex-ranch horf who was sold to me because her hooves were too soft for their terrain. She is always full of woe when I won't go take her to go find the cows we can hear in the distance every summer.

I ended up having three locations of baby asparagus come up, two have three stalks and the other has only two. We haven't done anything with them besides provide regular watering, but this definitely gives me hope for future years!
