Sure “the left” has much stronger anti-“colonists” reactionary tendencies that make them far more prone to seeing them as evil. But unless someone is jumping to antisemitism themselves, I think it is less the left’s fault directly than the people asserting they are one in the same.

Can we not generalize like this? Traditional shit libs are doing this too to an extent and when we want to criticize a group broadly I think we should aim our ire at the groups that purposefully conflate the state of Israel with Judaism when it is convenient to shield themselves from criticism.

I love the term “mishandled”. Because something as simple as taking it to an insecure room adjacent to a properly secured room would probably be enough to get people fired in every other situation. Straight up stealing and probably putting it on eBay if properly investigated got swept under the rug.

I was somehow duped into believing that stealing top secret documents and storing them in your bathroom was a clear crime that would simply be impossible to avoid consequences for. I was confident he’d avoid real punishment but house arrest or something to clearly say this is wrong had to happen.

Not intended as an argument.

Rather this is what our choices feel like when politicians chain themselves to current polling. People crave authenticity almost over anything else. And they can smell inauthenticity like the stench it is.
