I don’t see where Uncanny claims to be a documentary. It’s always claimed to be an investigation into each case. I agree that the visuals could be enjoyed more by horror fans (not necessarily believers) but it doesn’t sensationalise in the way Most Haunted did. It’s more balanced than that for me.

I agree that Good Evening is properly creepy. I can’t see past The Hanging Room for pure terror. Even if there’s no paranormal element, someone’s life is at stake. Hugely scary I think.
