Yes, as I understand it. I'm guessing that eventually the EX5 will get a tow rating.

We were originally planning on buying an Atto3, but we have a Geely EX5 on order instead. The EX5 has sharper pricing & loads of tech.

Turmeric has anti-inflammatory properties. You can get activated turmeric tablets in the supplement section of the chemist and/or eat turmeric rich foods eg. Indian Dishes

It's the lateral movement of tennis that hurts my knee. The physio sold me a hinged knee brace that helps a bit.

Agree, the problem solving challenges, mental & physical, of playing tennis captivate me. Yesterday reminded me of how much joy tennis brings me. As for my knee replacement...it's a case of when, not if. But the orthopedic surgeon is not rushing me, so I'm taking lots of fish oil & turmeric atm.

I had my first hit of tennis in 18 months (after being told to stop playing competitively by the orthopedic surgeon looking into an eventual knee replacement). I realised, this evening, how much I miss playing tennis. It was so windy playing here in Elliston.

It's Social Tennis right? So where is a post-match beer?

Yes, Rev is the red string. I think the Poly Tour Spin as grippier. Strings are like buying tyres for your car.

I told you that strings are where the 'rubber hits the road'. Are you changing to a profile string? There are lots of options: have you considered Yonex Poly Tour Spin on the mains with Yonex Poly Tour Pro on the crosses? That's the setup that I think Osaka & Ruud have been using.

I wouldn't assume.

Exactly, didactic skills are different to performance skills.

Disclaimer, I am a retired Tennis Australia Qualified Club Professional Coach.
Always look for a coach who is a Tennis Australia Coach Member. Those coaches have gone through a rigorous certification process and have all the appropriate insurances.

This post raises an interesting question: Do elite players (current or former) make the best coaches for weekend warriors? Sometimes those elite players have trouble appreciating how less talented athletes can struggle doing things that come relatively easy to them. They are really good for the 1%ers

I tried multi-focal contacts. I'd be all set up for a volley and then I would lose tracking on the ball

Best Contact Lens Prescription for Tennis I have was done by an optometrist whom I used to play tennis against. He understood when I needed my vision clearest to track a tennis ball. I can't read with the contacts in, but they work great for tennis. They are also UV filtering.

Remember, strings are where 'the rubber hits the road' so don't just fixate just on the racquet frame. You should also be thinking about the string set-up that best suits you. Strings have changed a lot over 30 years.
