Foolishly promoting the fallacy that Trump's and Harris' policies on Gaza were identical helped suppress turnout, aiding Trump's win. Of course, if and when we have the power to do so, we must hold people accountable. But focusing on it as a major campaign issue would be a mistake.

"Soft-Sided" Facilities: Rapidly constructing tent complexes to handle increased capacity.
Funding Sources: The expansion is largely funded by the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, signed in July 2025, which allocated $45 billion specifically for ICE detention and border infrastructure.

Trump Administration Acceleration: The current rapid expansion is being executed under the Trump administration's goal of reaching over 100,000 detention beds by 2026. This includes:

He has since expressed regret for the association, stating in his memoir, "I wish I had never met him".
As of early February 2026, both Bill and Hillary Clinton have agreed to testify before a House Oversight Committee regarding their past ties to Epstein.

On these humanitarian missions, Clinton was often accompanied by foundation supporters and celebrities, including actors Kevin Spacey and Chris Tucker. Clinton has repeatedly denied visiting Epstein’s private island, Little St. James & maintained he had no knowledge of Epstein's criminal activities.

Clinton has acknowledged taking a total of four trips on Epstein’s aircraft between 2002 and 2003, with his staff and Secret Service detail present on every leg of these journeys. The trips were primarily to Africa, Europe, and Asia to work on initiatives such as combating HIV/AIDS, empowering...
