I played the new games without ever having played the old ones, and they were still plenty interesting. They do a fine job of communicating Kratos' history in the games, and I'm confident they'll be able to do the same in the show.

It is rather striking that they agree that DHS/ICE is an occupying force.

Yeah, I see your point, but Mike is right!

I haven't played Magic in a while, is this a metaphor or do they just have really impressive tech on the bits of cardboard now?

Thanks for that explanation, that's a lot more understandable to this layperson than the thread that was quoted!

Suppose I agree with you for the sake of argument... what the fuck is he talking about there? It's incomprehensible to me. Do you understand what he's trying to say?

I just started playing Cyberpunk 2077 and I'm definitely going to see it through (asking with Phantom Liberty). Next on my list will be Final Fantasy VII Rebirth.

I don't think it's hard to explain, I think you explained it perfectly and succinctly!

Ornstein and Smough? That's their names? Sounds like a law firm founded by two old British gents
January 19, 2026 at 3:37 PM
No, Seitan is right, that's how I interpreted your post as well until you clarified. Why would you think that people default to using an old definition of a word instead of the newer, contemporary definition?

That ice cream can be whatever it wants, I'm for FREEDOM
January 17, 2026 at 8:12 PM
It appears the situation is, um, fluid
January 16, 2026 at 8:36 PM
You first.

You-hate-waffles-ass post right here
January 16, 2026 at 12:10 AM
Your triumphant moment has arrived!
January 15, 2026 at 6:34 PM
Yeah, Star Wars keeps telling stories about how the Jedi ideology fails people, but they're never really willing to embrace the implications of that or explore other options.

Maybe The Acolyte would have gotten there eventually, but...

"Become Revan" can mean a lot of different things! Which Revan do you think Rey should have become?
