He/Him/Hey You
It’s not the amount of channels that is the problem, it’s that twelve conversations are going on at once in a Single room.
As someone who has trouble tracking conversations in crowded groups, it is just too overwhelming to try and follow.

That is a perfect description. I can’t track any conversations on it.

Very cool!

But packing moss in between the logs ain’t gonna keep the mice out, I hate to say. He needs to caulk those gaps. Maybe a concrete of sorts could be made to seal.

I sadly speak from experience. 😭🐭🪤

I mean… I don’t think I could even INK that in one sitting! 🤯

What did I miss? Took socials
Off my phone for a week and everyone is now saying Bluesky is dying?

I saw one in Hamilton I think?

I miss playing but I don’t think I could get my chops back up to the level I was at. I was definitely slipping, especially my voice, after the weekly house gig ended in 2017 and we were only playing 3 or 4 times a year by the time we played our last in 2020.

Fun getting to hear it again.

That must be regional, cause I call a mistake a “flub” and have never heard anyone call it a “clam” in 35 years of gigging and jamming.

Wow. I backed early so I hadn’t looked again. Looks like you are well on your way to matching the success of issue!

I should have scrolled further before asking what instrument.🤣

I pulled my old hs band horn out 8 years ago thinking I could bring it out for a few songs with my band (rockabilly with some jump
Blues and jazz when the club is empty) and after 3 months of daily practice I couldn’t get my lip back.😭

Are you a piano player?

i made the choice to focus on art instead of music around 23, but some days I think I’m more wired for music. at my late age I have no clue how to learn to be a better artist but I find learning more on guitar to be natural And the learning resources now are amazing.

I’ve done them as Kickstarter rewards twice now, and I don't know why, but they make me happy every time I need a bookmark and use one of mine.

He was just railing against lost gigs, but it was juvenile “what about our free right to assemble” and calls to “let’s party!” While people were pointing out that people were dying.

It was just tone deaf and irresponsible. I mostly learned about it from Terry Beatty challenging him on it on FB.

Yikes. Understandable.

I must have missed his remarks.

I haven’t been able to put on a Reverend Horton Heat disc since his early response to the first shutdown.

Oh, everyone absolutely blamed paul for the breakup in the early years.

Me. I’m not really a fan of any of the post Beatles work except Paul’s. He was the only one of them who could go into a studio by himself and come out with a decent Beatles pastiche. There’s low points, but a Lot of really good music.

I was a child with a snoopy doghouse AM radio in the mid-70’s so I became aware of music, and started tuning in deliberately during wings run of hits. songs like Silly Love Songs and Mull of Kintyre are baked into my DNA. getting into the beatles in my teens in the mid eighties and learning of the-

I was fortunate that my parents quit when my older brother was born, so I never lived with it. But I hated visiting my grandmothers house as I’d try to hold my breath every time she or my uncle lit up.

My wife subscribes to Obé fitness, an online library of video workouts/programs. She’s doing a menopause strength training program right now.

Might not be what you are looking for, but their programs are I believe primarily lead by female teachers and geared towards women. I’ve done them with her.
