One of my favourite things to do while live mixing our tabletop streams is to create immersive audio soundscapes.

Something as simple as having a low pass and reverb time on knobs for dynamic adjustment really creates a sense of space for the players.

fr not messing around when converting a lot of files 😅

Looping through folders of folders of sessions/episodes, checking for file types, converting using ffmpeg, and then re-checking that the conversion exists before deleting the previous file. Saves me manual energy 🤷

An example that I'm instantly so stoked about. Attaching images from Hero Forge for my NPCs and showing them in an Obsidian Base card view.

#Obsidian has a plugin called Initiative Tracker, and while it does everything you expect, my favourite part is that I can drag-and-drop characters in the tracker, eliminating the need of writing down numbers when all I care about is if they're higher or lower than the previous one.

If you are an organization nerd like me, and just so happen to use Obsidian MD for your #ttrpg notes, then you can save yourself time and energy by creating templates for notes you make often!

You can see in the 2nd image there just how many template types I like to use.
A blank Obsidian MD note with a title that reads "Session 10" The command palette of Obsidian MD inside of the 'Insert Template' type, 'Session Template' is highlighted. Other templates in the list include: Deity, Event, Faction, Location, NPC, PC, and Ship. An Obsidian MD note with session data populated from a template. It shows frontmatter with the session number, date, location, and tags. The main body of the note has sections for pre-game notes, a list of previous sessions, intro notes, outro notes, and at the bottom the supporter shoutout area is just showing.

Mostly stayed away from socials this weekend and really hammered out a lot of maps for our upcoming bi-weekly, chaos-fuelled #PirateBorg adventure (on Fridays! Not this one)

Created a new page in Touch Portal to properly control the low pass (lololol I labelled them as high pass but they're absolutely low passes) of my music, sfx, and amb channels along with toggling reverb and adjusting the tail.

A small thing, but I find it really adds to a session vibe.

Session 0 went very well. Already such a laugh. Setting the game in post-apocalyptic Newfoundland was also a good choice.

The system is also pretty sweet. I do need to re-read a bunch of stuff though 😅
