​ The November meeting of the 2025/26 CraobhEo woodturning year was held on Thurs November 13th, 2025 in the CraobhEo Centre in Aghamore. This was our A.G.M.  CraobhEo ​Chairman Tom Jordan chaired the meeting and welcomed everyone to the AGM. He thanked all members who served the chapter in any capacity in the past year. He also expressed sympathy on behalf of CraobhEo to the family of Padraig Grealis whose wife Maureen passed away this year.

The December meeting of the CraobhEo Woodturners 2025/26 year will take place on Thursday 11th December, 2025 at 20:00 hrs. in the CraobhEo Centre (Old Schoolhouse) in Aghamore, Co. The October meeting of the CraobhEo 2025/26 woodturning year took place on Thursday the 9th October in the CraobhEo Centre in Aghamore. Our demonstrator for the evening was Brendan Calvey. ​ ​ This was Brendan's first demo and he chose to turn a small bowl of 190 mm by 75 mm dimensions. First mount the bowl blank (sycamore in this case) in a screw chuck using tailstock for support.

​ The September and first meeting of the CraobhEo 2025/26 woodturning year took place on Thursday the 18th September in the CraobhEo Centre in Aghamore. Our demonstrator for the evening was Martin Wilson. ​ We were delighted to welcome Martin Wilson as our demonstrator for the evening. Martin choose a vanity mirror as his project for the evening. He discussed the different ways to go about this project including cutting your own mirror with a special glasscutter.

The June meeting of the CraobhEo 2024/25 year took place on Thursday the 12th June in the CraobhEo Centre in Aghamore. Our demonstrator for the evening was Wille Creighton. ​ This was our final meeting of the year. Willie's demonstration for the evening was a platter from Monterey Pine. First, he gave a talk on health and safety. He followed this up with a tutorial on lathe maintenance.

​ The May meeting of the CraobhEo 2024/25 year took place on Thursday the 8th April in the CraobhEo Centre in Aghamore. Our demonstrator for the evening was Eugene Grimley from the Crossborder and Ulster Chapters.  ​ Eugene's project was a cheese board with a lid. Base Mount a 200 mm diameter by 45 mm deep blank for base in compression mode and turn spigot.

​ The April meeting of the CraobhEo 2024/25 year took place on Thursday the 10th April in the CraobhEo Centre in Aghamore. Our demonstrator for the evening was Jim Stevens from the Crossborder Chapter.  Jim started off with a safety reminder and had a little chart to illustrate his points. Good idea. His project was a scoop turned from spalted beech.

​ The March meeting of the CraobhEo 2024/25 year took place on Thursday the 13th March in the CraobhEo Centre in Aghamore. This was a workshop facilitated by Willie Creighton and Martin Wilson.  ​ Willie Creighton first gave a tutorial on the various spindle cut and followed this with a sharpening on the grinder. Martin Wilson covered sharpening with the the Sorby Pro Edge.

The March meeting of the CraobhEo Woodturners 2024/25 year will take place on Thursday 13th March, 2025 at 20:00 hrs. in the CraobhEo Centre (Old Schoolhouse) in Aghamore, Co. Mayo.  Reminder also that the CraobhEo Seminar is coming up on Saturday the 22nd February in the Gateway Hotel in Swinford. Competition for March is a piece from a drawing. Note this is a change to our advertised list.

​ The February meeting of the CraobhEo 2024/25 year took place on Thursday the 13th February in the CraobhEo Centre in Aghamore. Our demonstrator for the evening was Donal Ryan from the Limerick Chapter.  ​ Donal's project was a hollow form from a spalted beech blank, 50 mm square by 250 mm long. Hollow Form Mount between centres and turn to a round.

Our demonstrator for the evening was Frank Fitzpatrick from the Shannonside Chapter.  ​ Frank's project was a sugar bowl with lid. Bowl Mount a 100 mm square by 150 mm beech blank for base and turn to a round of 90 mm diameter.
