The fact that these rich bastards are preparing for the apocalypse instead of using their money to ensure that doesn’t happen is very telling. The AI people know how hated they are and are doing everything they can to avoid doing the bare minimum amount of self reflection.

I think most guys don’t hate women, and I think this framework of bigotry = hate is not helpful. Most bigots of the modern day simultaneously don’t respect their targets while purporting to like or at least feel neutral towards them. You don’t have to feel negatively towards a group to be bigoted.

The urge to give grace is not worth creating a sour environment within the entire group. I’ve turned out fine. That being said, I was never hateful. Some men that get turned away will probably become bitter and horrid, but I have enough hope that most guys want to be better people.

I say all of this because I think being a bit more militant with these types of dudes and kicking them out might actually be healthier for them in the long run. Ultimately. I hope for a world where we don’t groom men into being like this, but we have to nip this issue in the bud.

I am a cis-white dude who was effectively pushed out of a group for being a creep and not understanding boundaries. Not only do I believe this was the right decision for the group, but I also became happier myself after I made the decision to stop trying to get myself back in and just walked away.

I looked at the comments, and most of them were splitting hairs about the parks becoming increasingly IP based. Like, ain’t no way losing fucking Rivers of America in Magic Kingdom is the straw that broke the camel’s back. There are so many better things to be mad about with Disney.

Not obscure, but I love Dragon Quest IX

The biggest thing to keep in mind with Hazbin Hotel is that it is, at its core, an independent production. This is the biggest reason (I think) that it’s able to have queer characters and cover topics that other shows won’t touch. I give this show a lot of leeway because of all of this.
