The site is still not mobile “friendly” but I believe the table is a bit less mobile hostile now. Thanks again, we’ll keep working on it.

Thanks! We have a lot of things to do before we have regional systems, but absolutely our plan is to let you pick your region. (Right now the only one is us-west, because that's where we are.)

Amazingly on iOS I can click on the image and copy the ID text immediately. Computers do get better!

Should be fixed. An issue with huge pages.

The exe.dev ‘new’ command takes an —image flag that can refer to any public container image, so you can build a container to your liking and use it.

We are also working on something new in this space, should be ready in a few weeks.

Thanks! We can boot up a full Ubuntu (with systemd and the usual bells and whistles) in about a second, with a domain name and a TLS proxy. Our goal is to make VMs too fast to ever slow you down.

Thanks for the bug report, I’ll look into it tomorrow.

Nice! If you would like to be an early customer for the corp equivalent, selling that is our Business Plan and we would be excited to try and make it work.

Yeah, I came up with this a few weeks back because of all the ssh we are doing. I think the key to making it work is an auto-updating global service, so people can get used to it before it has to be built into OpenSSH. They already got burned by DNSSEC.

Thanks! I put it on the todo list. We’ve been doing some mobile work but haven’t got to docs tables yet.

Thanks! You’re definitely the target customer unless you’re racking your own hardware. It may take us a little while until the product is ready for you but I will have news on NVMe in ~weeks. (Everything should be on local NVMe!)

Also see github.com/C2SP/C2SP/is.... I figure I’d make this generally useful with apt/etc packages before I bother @damienmiller.bsky.social

I’m too old for dark mode. I’ll ask an agent to fix the css.

Thanks, appreciate the feedback! If you run into anything that is not hilariously easy, please let us know!

I do not have the hours in the day, or the typing endurance, to do all the things I want to do. Anything that helps with that is a godsend.

Decades in and it’s still magical.
