Unfortunately I need deadlines in order to get anything done, but I don't force myself to write every day. I just remind myself that tomorrow will be a lot less work if I don't have to make up for what I didn’t do today.

For me it's mostly because im rewriting the first book of the series and (accidentally) started working on the second. The timelines are pretty straightforward, but a lot of my main characters are in entirely different places. It's taking a lot of effort to keep up with all of them.
