enjoyed that. i also think that this need for a real human connection to everything puts an upper bound on AI's role in reshaping society .. if anything, i'd speculate in the medium to long run, it'll make real connections more important.

it would be true that USA spend on AI chips is pretty lazy and they could get a lot more out of it if they tried (possibly 100x or more given the training stack).
