education = a lever for change

currently Ireland Gov open submissions on

- circular economy
- economic curriculum in schools review

I’m half way through the circular economy one & I’m impressed by the realism of the Construction sector

it also states a new economic model is required

hence the second submission prep

The Nobel Prize for Economics was invented in 1968 by the Central Bank of Sweden, they pay the Nobel Foundation to award it. This is one of those facts which I think should be commented on more often.

Needless to say their proper owner is delighted I've found them - & they will handed over to her, & shown to her uncle in his care home to give him pleasure. She's hopeful they will trigger happy memories.

I won't go into details but I've been struggling & am pretty battered myself. Looking at lovely old things on Ebay has been pure escapism. Pretty Georgian hand-painted porcelain & stoneware, intriguing bits of furniture with history. The craft & beauty of these survivors from the past appeals to me.
