Barely functional human man with an extraordinary talent for having a complete lack of talents.
Ahh, painful! Baffled that signatures are still a thing.

I don't really know.

Russia isn't your enemy, dude. Most ordinary Russians are just poor people being lied to by those that govern them. In other words, not to dissimilar to Trump's america. Putin is your enemy. Trump is your enemy.

I don't think I've ever seen the suffix '-iverse' more than in the replies to this post. You've created a monster, Adrian. 😄

So diverse, all of this -iverse.

Marvel just pricked up their ears at this. And after that, of course, they'll be itching to do the Multiverse-iverse.

That's not a treat. It's a labour of love.

"Shocks the world"? What a stupid headline. Clearly the guy in his mid-20s is going to win against a guy pushing 60, who hasn't competed in 20yrs.

If only we hadn't elected to cut ties with the Elvish folk by 52% to 48. Somehow controlling the immigration policy in that farmer's field seems a bit moot now.

Apologies to the podcast but I had to skip this one. I just found Steve Hilton so repulsive that I could not stand to listen to more than a minute or two of his waffle.

"So, I'd kinda like to use Bluesky instead of Twitter, but I've got 37,000 followers over there, and after a year here I've got 802 followers..."

Yes, but consider the exchange rate.

Each BlueSkyer has got to be worth at least a handful of twitterers, right? 😉🤭

Blindsight by Peter Watts. A hard science chunk of existential horror that will literally change the way you think about what it is to be human.

Steven Pacey! He's phenomenal isn't he! Such a great range, and every major character is instantly recognisable from the tone and delivery almost before the story shows who is speaking.

The rest of the 'first law world' books are, if anything, even better. Abercrombie's skill with character is the best in the business for my money. And as the books progress he gets better with plot too. You may even get to see some familiar faces again in the other books ..!

It's a show I dismissed when it first came out. Could have sworn I heard something about s2 already being cancelled back then (does anyone else remember that?)? So when I saw, to the contrary, s2 is in fact imminent, and definitely NO cancellation, I jumped in. What a great show! A new favourite.
