Sometimes the reflections are the star of the show as in these Rothko inspired leaded stained glass panels from a time before I knew to write down what glass I was using. The hunt for that red is on!

Day 2 Medieval style panel designed to look like fragments being reused. Pieces were hand painted using traditional glass paint and a dip pen with silverstain added to the reverse to colour the flowers yellow. Then kiln fired before leading up.

Following my copper seahorse inclusion project's lost flame painted dimension it was fun to make this piece combining copper inclusions with kiln carving. The aim was to add dimension and texture to increase the play of light capturing qualities of the clear glass. #Craft

Before and after of an experiment to see if flame painted copper would survive being fused inbetween glass. In short no,1 the colour variation was lost but I'm still happy with the final piece and the learning.

Latest work a Mondrian inspired leaded stained glass panel has had it's week of lying flat for the putty to dry and is now ready to be installed to replace the 1970's serving hatch. First time making to fit a gap so wish me luck with the installation!

Highly recommend Hidden Figures the biographical drama about 3 female African-American mathematicians: Katherine Goble Johnson, Dorothy Vaughan and Mary Jackson who worked at NASA during the Space Race. Loosely based on the 2016 non-fiction book by Margot Lee Shetterly.

Then discovered the statistic that over 55% of accounts are blocked by at least one person and that there is a league table of blockers so are some accounts trying to top the list by mass blocking others? I don't know the accounts who blocked me so a couple of weeks on I've calmly reached acceptance
