This past weekend was truly amazing, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world. I am so fucking incredibly thankful for my friends and those around me to believe in me, love me, and push me to be the best version of me.

Jay has helped me regain my confidence and filled my life with so much joy. Through him, I have been able to make so many amazing memories and friends that I will cherish forever. Work on projects I love and help give back to the community. Be a force for good.

Little did I know that this silly little dog would have such a profound impact on me, helping me to overcome my mental challenges, and find the community I so desired. Being able to build his character over time has helped me to build my own back up.

Before joining the fandom, I struggled really hard with my mental health. I was at the lowest point in my life in terms of self-esteem and happiness. But that changed whenever I took a chance to do something new — create my fursona, Jay.
