Parish Council has met this evening, agreeing its precept for 2025/26. Due to a small increase in the tax base, we expect to see a slight reduction in the charge per household next year, which we hope will be welcome.

We have a new “fingerpost” to guide travellers towards our village, replacing the one that fell off a few years ago - the moodily lit photograph is courtesy of Parish Council Vice-Chair, Ayse Singh.

It’s the village coffee morning tomorrow, organised by our friends on the Parochial Church Council. The baked goods are always excellent and the company good so, if you’re free and in the area, why not drop in?
