Making #protestsigns was a great way to experience #creativityasresistance and connecting with incredible people at the same time was #joyisresistance. And for me who wants to support the #protests but is unable to go to actual protests, i was able to support those who can. #resist

Completely failed at cooking dinner tonight. I made traditional carbonara, and I made the water to cook the pasta salty like the sea. And then I used said salt water in the sauce, and it made everything way too salty! So lesson learned maybe only mildly salt water is what they mean when they say salty like the sea.

Part of not complying in advance is not letting them control the vision of the future. Dream of the future you want. Fight for the future you want. Believe in the future you want. Share that dream. Bring people together to fight for that dream. I dream of a future where every child can fulfill their fullest potential and overcome every oppressive obstacle in front of them. An environment where we are stewards and fight to care for the world so that we are sustained by each other going forward. A place where no one is hungry and everyone has a place to live. A world we’re community and mural caring motivates everyone to thrive not just survive. And a world where violence is not the answer.

I’ve used up all my holds on my Weber County Library Libby account and I’ve got 35+ tagged for future holds when I’ve got space again. But I couldn’t wait and I want access to even more books, so today I got a Salt Lake City Public Library card too ($80 per year for non-resident). My recommendation to you - use your library and make the most out of it!

This is not the fault of the employees at the VA. They are wonderful. This is all the fault of Trump, Musk, and the Muskrats. Thanks for failing our #Veterans.
Today, the VA’s ID.me login to MyHealthyVet is not working. The message to call the Crisis Line if in mental crisis is no longer playing when calling the Veterans Center. And when I try to schedule an appointment with the Sleep Medicine Department, I’m transferred to Primary Care. Thanks Trump and Musk for doing such a great job caring for our Veterans.

FYI, the probationary employees being illegally terminated from government agencies, include long term career employees who have switched positions or received a promotion in the last year. These are people who’ve dedicated their lives to doing the work it takes to run this country.
There is something being missed when saying new employees on probation are being fired from the government. Yes, it cruelly includes all people who are in their first year of working with the government and are working hard to build their career. But it also includes long term employees who have switched positions, say for a promotion, within the last year to grow their career. This includes members of our Ogden Community being devastated by this unconstitutional termination.

With my beginner #crochet skills I wondered if I could make a #Mothman. I found simple patterns. It had to be fuzzy, so I got fuzzy “yarn”. I learned black yarn is hard for a beginner with bad eyes and fuzzy yarn is difficult. But I made it work, so I’m proud of myself. I love my mothman!
