Finally got the front porch sanded, cleaned, stained, and sealed.
The gray paint was lead paint. Which made sanding and cleaning a whole lot more "fun" 🤪 full coveralls, respirators, and more how fun!

I was going to finally start the deck. But now I'm thinking of just resting after this project 😮‍💨

Sparrows, crows, cardinals, robins, a woodpecker, and a large bluejay! I'm overjoyed at all the birds visiting our bird feeder today 🥰

Attempting to make sweet sticky rice. I don't have a steamer or cheesecloth, so boiling water, sieve, and the overnight soaked rice is wrapped in clean unbleached muslin. I hope it turns out.

Other than falling down the stairs, my partner and I had a bunch great fabric finds at an estate sale. Found wool, tweed, twill, linens, denim, cotton blends, poly blends, chiffon, I think even possibly some kind of silk! 😄 Time to wash it all 🧼 🧽 🧺

True to my username I made créme brûlée last night. It was delightful! 😋

We went out into the snow and did a winter photoshoot! We got really lucky with this weather happening on a Saturday morning. The plows were out by the afternoon which was perfect timing! 😄❄️⛄️
