Commit statuses are a great example of something that is currently re-implemented as proprietary APIs in a bunch of different SCMs that could be an open notes-based standard instead.

At one point I doubted traveling across the country, during the week of crucial policy votes in Seattle, to attend YIMBYtown.

But it's been a galvanizing few days looking at the bigger picture
where it's pretty clear that those of us advocating for more people-centric communities – we're winning.
