i hate the terrible tendency in mihoyo games where the worldbuilding is decided along the way.
like where were these intellitrons, foxians, and other species when we first started the story? it's like they never existed until they were introduced in future chapters.

i really love the worldbuilding in arknights.
other games start you out in a "beginner area/map" and expand the world from there, but arknights just puts you straight into the world and explain previous and future concepts along the way
