I think he seems invincble right now because everyone in the government is obeying him. But for the most part, they do that because it's the law to obey the president.
Once is term is over, he no longer has that force of law. At that point he's just a man trying to take over the government.

I agree. And I think what Trump misses is that while ICE are largely made up of far right Trump loyalists, the US military is not. The Marines or national guard are not going to shoot peaceful protesters in the eye with pepper balls at point blank range.

My current belief is that the Trump admins recent behavior is all about the midterms. As it stands, they will lose very badly, and a major reason why is low Republican turnout.

I want it to be true as well. I just find it hard to believe that Trump's DOJ and FBI hasn't already illegally destroyed whatever Epstein evidence that had that implicated Trump. It's not like he wouldn't do this.

I think the main problem is likely the algorithm changes. Everyime I go there, the for you page is like exclusively right wing propaganda.

I opened up X, and it's literally full of right wing media personalities and Trump Admin officials openly calling for war against their fellow Americans. I open bluesky and it's full of left wing people condemning the violence.

While I understand where you're coming from, I don't think "we told you so" is a good tone to get people to vote for you. Instead, I think Dems should focus on how Trump lied. Why aren't egg prices lower? Why is Ukraine still at war? Why is there more inflation not less?
