Saw this over the weekend with the screenwriter and one of the producers speaking afterwards. Great guys, great story. A lot of fun.

I was gonna say Sebulba because he tried to kill both Anakin and Jar Jar but tbh he might have saved the galaxy a lot of trouble had he succeeded

That Jedi librarian sucked too, acting all arrogant about missing information when Obi-Wan was doing research, and she was later proven wrong

Time Out of Mind got all the praise and awards, but I prefer this earlier Daniel Lanois collab. The outtakes are bangers too: Series of Dreams, Born in Time, Dignity

I watched this on New Year’s Eve as it was leaving Criterion Ch and but I found it really enjoyable in an old fashioned way. Worth noting that William Goldman and Ivan Reitman were first involved but Chase wanted something more serious and less quippy so he moved on from them and hired Carpenter

I watched a lot of Richard Brooks films for the first time this last year, big fan now. Bite the Bullet is messier than The Professionals but also another underrated western with a great cast

They were the opening act for a U2 show I saw around 2009-2010. I made it a point to arrive during intermission because I didn’t even want to hear a note of that shit from the parking lot

You’d think the country that sent us the Statue of Liberty would appreciate a film about another free woman. C’est dommage

Over the summer I found all 10 at my local thrift for $1 each. Never heard of them but grabbed them all.

Exactly. Because he still looked like Christiansen when he was burned, showing a normal Sebastian Shaw makes no sense. Clearly, the Force can do what it wants—showing Anakin before he became a Sith isn’t any less plausible than removing burns and scarring. I prefer seeing Hayden there. Luke knows.

Just started watching it a few months ago, I’m through the first two seasons and now on the third. Agree with those who say it feels a little cheap compared to shows on more prestigious streamers/networks but cast is great from top to bottom IMO and love all the cultural details. Try it out.

I liked it well enough. Worth seeing for the two Albert Brooks scenes alone, but Kavner is great and I found Mackey endearing. Better than How Do You Know, that’s for sure
