So many things to love here
1) The original Elway saga.
2) Lol Jets.
3) In the grand scheme of things, kinda lol Patriots? So many things that almost worked. (And one thing that very much did.)

TBF the melting pot is a cliche that doesn't get taught anymore, thankfully.

All true. But Democrats need to be bolder and more aggressive, not change their core beliefs. Labour seems to be turning genuinely xenophobic.
And yeah, a party that has never led a government and doesn't have the numbers to do so any time soon is not, practically speaking, an alternative.

It's also worth noting that the US has another party that, while often flawed and craven, offers an alternative to immigration brownshirts. Not sure where you can turn when it's the leftwing party doing the xenophobia.

Well, yes. But scale is the problem. You cannot get to 3.5% without some fundamental choices that are going to be unpopular.

Obviously. It's a bad plan for everyone that will also bite the US in the ass in many ways.

Even with Canada, you'll need an increased level of military funding that will involve the kind of choices politicians don't like making and citizens don't like experiencing.

You don't have to love your bodyguard (particularly after he's been on an extended coke-and-steroids binge,) you just have to like him more than you like the idea of learning to shoot and going to the gym seven days a week.
