We had a poodle as a child that would chew on the coffee table. My dad made a concoction of butter,hot sauce & some other spicy powder. He smeared that on the spots the dog chewed. The next time our dog went to gnaw, he got a big suprise! Needless to say, the dog never chewed on the furniture again

My son and daughter-in-law are expecting their first child. He is 36, a veteran, and now unemployed b/c the business he brewed craft beer at closed. She is a teacher. They are still renting because they can not afford the skyrocketing cost of homeownership. Something has got to change.
