There’s always a compromise in these things, but you cannot put a price on your health, and we’re not getting any younger - we should be enjoying ourselves, not overdoing it! The closer I get to retirement, and I’ve a way to go, the more I am looking forward to it!

I cannot complain. Good food, a break from work and time to walk and unwind with the pooch after a stressful few weeks has been just what I needed 😊
I’m having the worst dread about going back to study/work, but I’m trying to keep that away for another two days!

2023 we drew the Ashes by the skin of our teeth, beet a woeful Pakistan but lost to NZ. 2024 we got hammered by India, and now the Aussies are just toying with us. I feel our weaknesses are really showing, and it’s in the batting
