Originally planned to read YWM2BH, but started the best food and travel writing instead 😅 it's meh so far
I also downloaded a few others but... I might hold off on those to focus on my Netgalley backlog?? since I'm going home soon (which means I finally have physical book access!!)

I'd say there's nothing esp special about the story but I have to praise it for the relationships and sex positivity, esp as female empowerment. I'm no expert but based on this chart, I'd say this features some form of poly-fidelity and relationship anarchy? which I've NEVER seen in other books 🤔

Oops, I never shared my first impression for this book here. It was a bit raunchier than I wanted which is crazy considering all the fanfic I read, so it took me a while to get through but HMMMM, it was more interesting than I thought. Also, I like the non-monogamous relationship it featured!

I also remember Iron Widow by Xiran Jay Zhao and Venom and Vow by Anna-Marie McLemore and Elliot McLemore. Both have disability rep (tho idk if the authors themselves have a disability) #bookishQOTD

2. It wasn't that it tempted me. It was just an ALC I got att and I was on a spooky read roll, it def helped that it was queer. It's such an interesting read: social/tech critique, dystopian, fantastical, and horror! #bookvember

I think this'll be my #TBR for now. The first two are directly from my #netgalley backlog, the second is indirectly part of it (the sequel is on my #ngb), and the last one is just a title I've seen some people talk abt recently. I might read that one...or I might read a diff ngb title, idk yet 🤔
