Im literally remembering how to use GIMP making video thumbnails. I've kind of missed it (I used to fiddle with the Minecraft .png file to redo textures to my liking)

On the other hand, here's a song that always gets me grooving as much as music used in The Guardians of The Galaxy movies. 🔥💃😁

"You'll always be a part of me, you gave me a song to sing, dancing in your room, innocent and true" "You'll always be a part of me, some wounds will always sting, forever in full bloom, barely twenty-two, summer days are growing colder, we'll know better when we're older" -The Midnight "Memories" ❤️

Languages and phonetics are crazy, especially for those who have learned any of another language. As many say, English can be difficult because of the many definitions, terms, slang, sentence structure and homophones. There are times even when words don't sound real when you say them. Also Cool Whip

"So you say you're under a curse?, well so what, so is the whole damn world." - Princess Mononoke . Love me the little kodama spirits !

There was a year I was able to visit wingfest and had some of the hottest, most delicious wings. This led me into trying more of the Hot Ones sauces and dabbling into the Paqui chip before they were pulled (I felt the ab attack they described quite a bit). Heat and flavor instead of straight pain.

Within the last year I can pop my knee on my right leg. All I have to do is rotate my foot sideways (rotating back of the foot side to side). It's not something I chase but something I notice when stretching. Yay bones!

There was a secret in a level of Turok 2: Seeds of Evil where you could eliminate all enemies, but there was a blocked door that wouldn't open. I remember shooting the birds in the area and the door opened! I am always scouring for secrets in current generation games, but most aren't difficult.

A couple favorites of the grey cat ❤️

We had three for a good time. Now the only one who's still around is the black cat.

There was a time when I had a PGA Tour game on PS2 and would play with the family. Around then, I made a bet I could make a hole in one and succeeded in winning that bet. Manipulating roll is fun 😊

Long time ago, I had a copy of final fantasy 8 and the third disc wasn't reading properly in the space scene, I remember turning the Playstation upside down and it was loading bit by bit, when it finally made it past after many attempts. It was definitely a thrilling moment 😂, and a long one.

I remember when WoW and BC came out I was still utilizing a 56kbps internet connection. I used a download manager for files and validation. And the patches weren't as huge nor as often as install was on disc for these two editions.
My latency was, if I recall, green so like 50ms. It ran smooth 😂

I bring the last post up because of the disc era having some interesting sharing quirks aside from happening over the internet.

A long long time ago, I learned a neat trick. If you installed RollerCoaster Tycoon on separate PCs by disc, when you needed the disc to load the game, you could start and then once you were at menu you could remove it and the game ran from drive/memory just fine. Nowadays that's just unneeded.

Growing up I played with Half Life 2 and their source engine and made maps, I did so also with the TES kit for Oblivion and made glass red on top of making unique areas a more namesake look. I had a lip syncing of Gman and Shinedown for the first, like 30 seconds.

I play a lot of games. I've grown up with so many icons and franchises. Some age better than others, and others have had improvements or quality of life fixes. I enjoy just about all genres but am a biggest player of RPG and FPS games. I love making things my own and not following trends constantly.

Working on getting myself ramped back up for gaming, tech, community, and a heck of a lot of love and support from myself, to my friends, family, coworkers, etc. Having so many hobbies can be a curse, but refining those passions is a blessing. So many things at one time 😅 I have a lot of enjoyment.

If this is to be my first post here on bluesky, let it be this.

We fight not only for ourselves but for one another when one cannot participate or act, and act we shall. My love for all people, no matter color or gender, we all deserve respect until shown they are to be given none. Love you all! 🤘🏻
