Its nice to see a coach sticking to what works, even if every game its something different. Karlo was a DNP for 3 quarters today and closed the game. And not because Queen was bad (too many turnovers but not as awful as in other games), but because he was changing the game

At what point Karlo takes Missi minutes? For me it should have happened in late last season, but I understood not benching the raw, rookie big. But now the gap is too big and your center of the future is Queen, not Missi

Thats why I dont see a future for Missi here. Like if you are going to be awful on offense and bad on D at least be a monster on rebounds. He just boxed out a ghost and gave up the rebound

The issue is that:
A- its always the same in the clutch, I can only recall one big shot by him (vs Utah at home I think).
B- his defense is awful so its not like he contributes there.
And my issue as well is that today he was the alpha dog and did not even bother to touch the ball after those 2 TOs

At least the Saints were a top 5 team for a few years (2009-2013, 2017-2020) and had a really good 15 year run (you dont always make the Playoffs, but there were at least competitive and had hope). Hell, maybe even 20 if you count the Haslett era where they missed the playoffs a lot with good teams
