Se cuela dócilmente por tus pestañas, tus ollares; entre la piel y la carne, sin dejar espacio para el miedo. El musgo anida en tu vientre, para que nunca vuelvas a pasar hambre. Y, sin quererlo, ya es tuyo. Tan tuyo como los huesos imberbes que nunca han conocido nada más allá de los lindes de la sombra y la pinaza.

Por las ramas, 28 de junio de 2025. Un manifiesto. El formato de la publicación es un dinA4 doblado pro la mitad, así que toda la composición tiene un flujov ertical. La portada tiene ramas rojas y negras dibujadas con vectores. El texto también es vertical, y reza el título con una fuenta gótica. Adscribiéndonos a la conmemoración de los disturbios de Stonewall, Por las ramas lanza su primer ladrillo el 28 de junio de 2025. Lo hacemos como respuesta directa al deplorable estado de la industria editorial en España. Rechazamos de forma tajante la absorción de la creación artística independiente como un mero anexo a una industria ya saturada, abandonada a ser un filón más que explotar por los grandes grupos empresariales. La palabra fanzine se empieza a confundir con un sinónimo de libro de arte de alta calidad y merchandising producido en el sur global. Queremos reivindicar la cultura del fanzine como herramienta de resistencia comunitaria. Buscamos favorecer la accesibilidad a información y obras susceptibles a ser censuradas por la cadena de distribución del monopolio editorial. El arte bajo el yugo capitalista siempre está sujeto a sus deseos, por lo que alcanzar una visión artística genuina es incompatible con dicha subyugación, sea o no intencional. Creemos que hay que volver a poner el foco en la exploración artística. Queremos la visión inalterada, cruda, sin higienizar, no convertir el arte en un producto más. Nos comprometemos con todas las disidencias, con las voces que se han silenciado sistemáticamente. No queremos que nadie tenga la sensación de que su arte es demasiado raro para ser visible. Como artistas y escritores que dependemos de trabajos no-artísticos para nuestra supervivencia en el tardocapitalismo, queremos que este proyecto sea autosostenible económicamente. Queremos ser un espacio comunitario que no empiece y termine en cada número, ni siquiera en nuestro proyecto en sí. Un catalizador para visibilizar y fortalecer el tejido de las publicaciones independientes. Y dado el carácter coral de esta publicación, Por las ramas se declara queer, feminista, punk, pro-Palestina, anti-racista, anti-capitalista, anti-censura y anti-IA. Aspiramos también a ser un espacio seguro para todas las personas que quieran formar parte de ella.
