Today's historic pic: Double-ended EMD streamliners B74 and an A class unit from the A70-A79 series head VLine passenger train no 8105 bound for Dimboola away from platform 6 at Spencer Street station, Melbourne, January 18 1987. VLine ceased running passenger trains to Dimboola in 1993.

A passenger train in VLine orange livery and hauled by two double-ended streamlined carbody EMD diesel locomotives pulls away from a passenger platform at a city terminal station.
