It's extremely well made and challenging as hell!

I'd recommend it in a minute to people who are into both roguelikes and Star Fox. Things change during development and you can't please everyone. Sorry about your team, game dev is in a very rough spot in general.

Really appreciate the responses, Survivor is a very good game, just not the kind that really holds my interest.

Yeah, for some reason I thought there'd be like two separate titles, where the roguelike kinda took on a life of it's own and that earlier iteration would be it's own separate thing. I'm sure I could have paid more attention to the campaign though.

This trailer really made it seem like less of a roguelike and more of a traditional SF game.

My misunderstanding then. I was hoping for more of a campaign, the planet to planet progression with multiple branching paths. Essentially an updated take on the original SF formula.

The switch is really tailored to digital purchases...do you really want to mess with a bunch of game cards on the go? I don't.
