I feel that. I think Legends Arceus is more fun but Pokemon SV has a better gameplay loop for shiny hunting…as a result SV is probably my most played Pokemon game period.

Reminds me of the problem I have with half the Paradox Pokemon. Sure there are arguably bigger problems but that one got under my skin the most.

My hope is that should Retro continue this trilogy(?) they have more control from the start instead of salvaging an earlier version of the project.

Ye, much as I love Dread it doesn’t really feel like Metroid game with its trial-and-error checkpoint heavy gameplay. Even though the atmosphere and storytelling were mostly on point.

Prime 4 def feels like a Prime game. Honestly my biggest gripe is the overuse of the word “Psychic”
