Why are you so obsessed with doing anything BUT actually making art yourself?

Please try making actual art. I promise it’s so much more fun and rewarding than typing words into a machine that algorithmically splices pictures and words together. This is and always will be slop.

Saying people with disabilities can “make art now” because of generative ai Large Language Models is stupid. They’ve always been able to make art. Frankly, it’s an insult to art itself and those with disabilities to say they couldn’t “realize what they see in their minds eye” before. Slop is slop.

Ai isn’t art.

I was just trying to, as nicely as humanly possible, suggest that using a Large Language Model-based image generation system, which has been discussed as a largely negative “innovation,” both in its effects on the environment and ruthless scraping of actual art, isn’t worth your time. Have a day! :)

I promise actually making art with your hands, or a cursor, or a pen, a paintbrush, anything at all, is so much more satisfying than writing a prompt.
