I was definitely bummed when he started trying to change it to just blurring. There is something oddly comforting about a world where all the setups end with the white light of annaliation.

Given a different set of circumstances, "they" could be "we" and "we" could be "they" much easier than we care to admit. But those with outsized influence on these circumstances, and who actually benefit, are a small few.

I dunno, the clearance needed to be made and was good enough that the team should have been better positioned to respond.
