Great interview! He really had a lot of beautiful reflections on the life of an actor. Need to go back and see more things he was in. He was primarily Locke's dad for me.

Hindsight is 20/20 ofc but it seems slightly easier to imagine rallying people to climate politics in the U.S. around rent and mortgages becoming unaffordable vs. far-off, somewhat abstract goals like net-zero, or “beating” China by building more EV Hummers

Punctuated by a series of disasters that - as response & recovery systems are hollowed out - empty whatever savings people have, w/ fewer, costlier options for shelter. Disasters are made worse by all the ways rising temperatures are making life more expensive, but those connections rarely get made
