BONUS: The Wireframe #b3d #3D #GameDev

WIP I need a break from programming. The Health Flower is done in #Blender (mostly) so time to get it into the engine. I thought about adding some star sparkles to it and making it emit a wind chime like sound to really give it that magic vibe. #GameDev

I unfortunately lost my job due to studio closure at another German indie studio, so GG is now a commercial project, while it was originally meant to be smaller and free. On the bright side, now instead of 3 different graveyards, there will be 5 different biomes plus the intro level! #IndieGameDev

I applied for and did get approved for funding for the concept and prototype phases! I'm having kinda mixed feelings about that. I'm happy the funding exists but I gotta hit the deadline, so I've been programming the entire time and had no time to work on the art which is killing my soul 💀

The reason I switched from Unity to #UnrealEngine5 is that I'm not a good programmer and a lot of stuff I want to have in the game like ground-blending comes out of the box with UE. Tho I did turn of Nanite and Lumen. Too Heavy. Ironically I ended up ears deep into C++ which is worse than C#, RIP-

I haven't been posting here about my current bigger project "Ghoul Graveyard" tho it's been in the works for a while. It was originally being developed in Unity before I switched to UE5. I posted about this on my X and this is the thread is putting BlueSky up-do-date with my project. #IndieGameDev

EA also owns the "American McGee's Alice" series 💀 ngl I don't really care about EA as a company, but please please please hand the IPs over to someone who actually cares and would do something with them-!

Soo... Triumph Studios made the two "Overlord" Games. Codemasters owns the IP, then got bought by EA which yesterday got bought by Saudi Arabia...

... I think I can go and bury my dreams of ever getting to work on Overlord 3 😭
