Thank you! I was actually trying something I don't normally do with that one and laid out the basic light, shadows, and colors I felt were important before I started to sketch everything in... which I think worked out pretty well so far!

This is a piece I’m currently working on for my mum- it’s my Oma when she was young. She loved roses, dahlias and cats. Currently in the “f-around with color tests” phase and figuring out backgrounds. Once that’s done I will begin painting the final with gouache.

I'll start us off with my current WIP. Another #ent from my #TreeFolk series. Just getting down to rendering all the details. Here's the latest version and few previous steps.

It seems the only artwork I finish anymore is for commissions. I have so many WIPs sitting around waiting for me to turn my focus back to them.
