The one thing that always trips me up about neurotypical communication is they ask questions by introducing the topic and then stopping. When they answer a question, they answer what they assume the followup question will be instead. And god forbid you attempt to clarify in either case

for people that keep saying "oh put stickers on the cameras" when interacting with surveillance equipment: if you have some paper napkins, paper towels, toilet paper, newspaper if you're willing to beat it up a bit, get it wet, wad it up into a ball, and not only will it stick, it dries into place

damn it, I got up to do some stuff after finishing The Great Dictator and completely missed the entire first half of Scar of Shame (1927) because I didn't check the guide. I had no idea a black cast, made for a black audience, silent film was on next 😭 maybe I can find it somewhere else
