Ahhhk, we're loosing the old ways! I used to be able to surf reddit for a website to help me preserve videos, and sure the website always got closed down after like a year, but that's what reddit is for damn it!

Seeing It's a Wonderful Life for the first time, I don't get how people said for years it was hokey garbage. It's got great stage direction, clear visual language, good story construction. A little whimsical, but grounded with real language about serious topics. Not mind blowing, but solid, good

The one thing that always trips me up about neurotypical communication is they ask questions by introducing the topic and then stopping. When they answer a question, they answer what they assume the followup question will be instead. And god forbid you attempt to clarify in either case

damn it, I got up to do some stuff after finishing The Great Dictator and completely missed the entire first half of Scar of Shame (1927) because I didn't check the guide. I had no idea a black cast, made for a black audience, silent film was on next 😭 maybe I can find it somewhere else
