It’s getting a lot of media traction though, and it’s one of the areas where there’s clear blue water between the LibDems on the one hand, and Tory/Labour on the other (and where we have a proven track record of voting to protect privacy and civil liberties too).

We need to see a party response to Apple’s decryption asap, I think. We are historically good on this stuff, and Apple’s (and the government’s) decision leaves all our iOS-using citizens less safe.
