I love Floyd Gottfredson, especially his early stuff. I hate that it’s Walt Disney’s name that’s signed on every strip.

I use Platinum Carbon ink for fountain pens and Speedball Super Black India Ink for dip pens. Both are super black, completely waterproof (not just water resistant), and don’t lighten or fade when erased.

When I was a kid, tv was saturated with Walter Lantz cartoons. We watched them every bit as much as Looney Tunes, Tom and Jerry, etc.

I’ve started buying the Walt & Skeezix collections from Drawn & Quarterly. They’re incredible. Chock full of great info and old photos about Frank King’s life too.

I bought the Looney Tunes Golden Collection on DVD close to 20 years ago. It’s really good. Lots of extras and commentaries on every episode. It’s still available.

I grew up in a public library. Made me who I am today. I was a latchkey kid and it was often the only place I had to go until my mom got off work. I would hang out for hours sometimes and I loved it.

I love Andor. It’s definitely my favorite Star Wars tv show, though Skeleton Crew was a lot of fun and a nice break from all the darkness.
And despite being raised on Star Wars, my son is the same way. He tolerates anything Star Wars at best. 😆
