is there a way that the npc can continuously chase a point slightly offset from the ball instead of going to a fixed location?

the problem is that the current code for repositioning only accounts for the ball's location the moment the event is triggered. this means it works fine when the ball is still, but not when it's moving.

if the npc is farther, then it will simply push the ball forward and thus closer to the goal. if the ball is farther, then the npc will move to a position slightly further to the right (or left for the opposite team) than the ball, then push it forward. pretty basic, but i can build on it later.
