I'm not big on colour theory, it's all CRT magic to me. you might be onto something, or maybe it's also the fact that the tubes are old and vary in deterioration. I'm sure glad I got it thou, also one more same model and 2 other 14" recently so I have a sizeable backup.

I must admit IQ is really amazing, I think I lucked out on a barely-used on or something. I have previously dismissed 14 inchers as useless (at least for photos), now it's one of my favourite sets
