dragonflight was a solid read minus the nonconny vibes which did not age well at all. i love how it had space stuff, dragons, environmental disasters, post-apocalyptic, and time travel in like 250 pages. you rarely see that nowadays.

many books like to neatly tie up everything at the ending, but this one definitely didn't. mordred's birth secret is out, the orkney brothers are now publicly divided, the round table won't forget their accusations and suspicions of each other any time soon, all of it adds up to the impeding fall

mordred is SO funny, he hears a story about his brother killing an innocent man and then trying to force the dead man's wife to be his concubine, and he just makes a joke, "unlike my brother, i sleep weaponless so you can come murder me in my sleep"
